In early June 2011, the Greenhouse association invited a few young designers to a ceramics workshop in the Atelier of Arlette and Marc Simon, in the region of the Haute-Loire, France. This was an opportunity to begin an experimentation with this primitive material. There is a fundamental affinity between the material of clay and the act of cooking. The purpose of this research was to create a special atmosphere in a conventional cooking oven. It is carved into two parts, a plate and a bell. After the exhibition Objets Manufacturés, some tests will validate its culinary possibilities. Olfactory experiences, visual, material, gustatory.
Objets Manufacturés exhibition at GreenHouse, Saint-Etienne - France, 9th to 26th June 2011 and exhibition at Les Roches, Espace d'Art Contemporain, Le Chambon-Sur-Lignon - France, 8th to 30th October 2011.
