The project originated with written introspection that distanced me from the rational approach to object creation, construction and design. The daily viewing of photographs reveal a space-time continuum in which objects are released from the factory that made them, from speculation, in favor of the intimacy of a house, a store, a worksite, a dark entrance, thus restoring what is real in the real through the real.

The goal is the design of a useful and sensitive object, capable of triggering emotion and reaction by restaging photographic traces. The assembly of materials and shapes is born of experiments conducted during object construction. The metal becomes plaster, then wood, and finally disappears. The designed object favors a direct relationship with its viewer, its user, its story gaining in intensity through the real life experience it highlights.
